Expect the unexpected. Just how am I
supposed to do that?
Whenever God tells me He's doing something
that I can't even imagine—can you guess
what I immediately start to do?
Right—I try to guess
what it is. Of course, I've never been successful. I can't seem to get
ahead of God, nor do I want to.
But I want to be ready. I know that God
will unfold events when the time is right. Meanwhile, it's my
responsibility to prepare in any way I can, any way Jesus leads me.
Whatever expected or unexpected events
come your way, remember they aren't unexpected to God; He's always there ahead
of you. Follow His leading as He prepares you, then trust that you can
handle whatever comes your way. And remember He not only goes before you,
He's there With you.

Scripture: 'For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war
according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh,
but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying
speculations and every lofty thing lifted up against the knowledge of God and
taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.' II Corinthians
10:3-5
