Finding Jesus

How far would you go to find Jesus?  What's He worth to you?
Would you undertake a journey of mystery, peril, and the unknown to find Him?  Or would you only be interested if the path to Jesus is easy and predictable?
You probably invest considerable time and energy finding the right career, the right romance, the right car, the right house in the right neighborhood.  But what is the righteousness of Jesus worth to you?
The Good News is that Jesus isn't hard to find—He's not hiding out.  The other good news is that He was looking for you long before you were looking for Him.  You don't reach out to God, you reach back.
Today, seek Jesus with your whole heart and mind and soul and strength.  Put down your cell phone and close your daily planner and open your heart to Jesus.  Cast your fear aside and run to Jesus.  His arms are wide open to receive you.
Then see where He takes you.  See what adventures and wonders and challenges await.
Focus Scripture:  'Simon Peter answered Jesus, “Lord, to whom shall we go?  You have the words of eternal life.  We have believed and come to know that You are the Holy One of God.” '  John 6:68-69
