Great things have small beginnings.
Every human life starts with the union of the
smallest human cell and the largest human cell. The journey of thousand miles
begins with the first step. The greatest of relationships begin when someone
makes a first, maybe tentative, move outside of their comfort zone.
Your restoration to God starts when you make the
simple move to open your heart to Jesus. That’s when your life really begins.
So where can You
make a small move today that will have a big impact in the future? Who
can you speak words of encouragement to? Who needs your help in bearing a
crushing burden? Who needs a smile or small acknowledgement from you?
Who needs your
words and works of compassion? Who needs
the authenticity of your caring touch?
There are no small acts of obedience to
God. Listen closely for His still, small voice as He moves you to
action. Your small act of love may be just the ticket to create a better
future for someone near you.
Jesus said 'If you have faith the size of a
mustard seed, you will say to this mountain 'Move from here to there' and it
will move; nothing will be impossible for you'. Matthew
17:20
